  2. Here's how to get Cook 4.5 up and running.
  3.  
  4. 1. Create a directory called COOK (or whatever you prefer to call it).
  5.  
  6. Use the DOS command:
  7. MD COOK
  8. for example.
  9.  
  10. Then put the COOK45.ZIP file into this directory.
  11.  
  12. 2. Unzip COOK45.ZIP.  Leave all the files in this directory except five:
  13. VBRUN300.DLL, MSAES110.DLL, VBDB300.DLL, MSAJT110.DLL, and THREED.VBX.
  14. Move or copy these five files into your Windows/System directory.
  15.  
  16. 3. Now, to run COOK, you can add COOK45.EXE to your Program Manager
  17. (or whatever Windows shell you use).  Or use the RUN command (in the
  18. File menu) in Program Manager or File manager to run COOK45.EXE directly.
  19. A complete description and instructions for all the COOK features
  20. are in the file COOK.WRI (which can be read with the WRITE.EXE file that
  21. comes with Windows, or can be called up within COOK by clicking on
  22. the HELP button).

  24. 4. The Shrimp and Candybar .BMP files are sample search icons.
